We Build Tools for People Who Build Software

Apilium started because existing tools weren't keeping up. We're a small team shipping fast — IDE, protocol, knowledge maps, and AI agents.

What We're Doing

We build developer tools that understand context. Not just syntax highlighting and autocomplete — tools that know your architecture, your decisions, and your constraints. Everything we ship is designed to reduce the gap between intent and working code.

Context-aware development across the full stack
Semantic infrastructure for machine-to-machine communication
Self-hosted AI agents with verifiable memory
Knowledge visualization from any document or codebase

How We Got Here

We started with a problem: legacy systems that nobody wanted to touch and modern tools that didn't understand them. That led to Forge, which led to AIngle, which led to everything else.

2022

The Vision

Started building context-aware developer tools after years of working with codebases that outgrew their tooling.

2023

First Breakthrough

Built the first version of the context analysis engine — a graph that maps an entire codebase's architecture, dependencies, and design decisions.

2025 Q1

Apilium Forge Launch

Shipped Apilium Forge with full context awareness, legacy code support, and AI assistance that works with the whole codebase, not just the open file.

2025 Q2

Enterprise Scale

Scaling to enterprise customers. Adding compliance, on-prem deployment, and team-wide context sharing.

2026 Q1

AIngle Semantic DAG v0.6.0

Shipped the Semantic DAG — append-only causal graph with Ed25519 signing, time-travel queries, 12 REST endpoints, and cross-node sync. All 12 crates at v0.6.0.

Our Values

Innovation

We ship things that didn't exist before. If the approach is obvious, someone else already did it.

Developer First

Every feature starts with: does this make the developer's day better? If not, we skip it.

Security

Code stays on your hardware unless you explicitly choose otherwise. No telemetry by default.

Global Impact

Our tools work in 18 languages and run on everything from a Raspberry Pi to enterprise clusters.
